Glenroy Central Kindergarten is located at Glenroy Central Primary School, and is managed by the NSEYC. The kindergarten provides a high quality program and was recently assessed as ‘Exceeding‘ the National Quality Standards for Early Childhood Education and Care (in September 2021).
Our purpose is to Love a Life of Learning and Living. Our values are Trust, Respect, Relationships and Learning, and these values inform everything we do. We specialise in delivering high-quality early learning programs in close partnership with families, schools and the broader community, as we know this has enormous benefits for children’s lifelong learning. Our educational philosophy includes a focus on authentic relationships to support individual children’s wellbeing and development, with a strong emphasis on learning through play in nature.
Enrolments for the 4-year-old program at Glenroy Central Kindergarten are via the Moreland City Council. Enrolments for the 3-year-old program are taken directly by us (although this will change from 2022 onwards). For assistance with the process, call us on 9306 1662, email email@example.com, or for more information about the enrolment process see How to enrol.
Facilities and Services
The kindergarten is based within the school grounds at Glenroy Central Primary School. The kindergarten is being expanded in 2021 to add an additional modular room to support the delivery of 3-year-old programs through the Victorian government’s Building Blocks initiative, as part of our ongoing efforts to provide the very best early learning opportunities for children in Glenroy and all of the communities we work within. The outdoor play space will also be upgraded.
The kindergarten offers programs for 3-year-old and 4-year-old children.
