Will Will Rook Preschool is located next to a beautiful nature reserve in Glenroy, on Wurundjeri land, and is managed by the NSEYC. Will Will Rook Preschool runs a bush kindergarten program, which provides wonderful opportunities for children to learn in nature. Read this article on our bush kindergarten program to find out more about the many benefits of nature pedagogy for children. The kindergarten provides a high quality program and was recently assessed as ‘Exceeding‘ the National Quality Standards for Early Childhood Education and Care (in mid 2021).
Our purpose is to Love a Life of Learning and Living. Our values are Trust, Respect, Relationships and Learning, and these values inform everything we do. We specialise in delivering high-quality early learning programs in close partnership with families, schools and the broader community, as we know this has enormous benefits for children’s lifelong learning. Our educational philosophy includes a focus on authentic relationships to support individual children’s wellbeing and development, with a strong emphasis on learning through play in nature.
Enrolments for the 4-year-old program at Will Will Rook Preschool are via the Moreland City Council. Enrolments for the 3-year-old program are taken directly by us (although this will change from 2022 onwards). For assistance with the process, call us on 9306 1662, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or for more information about the enrolment process see How to enrol.
Facilities and Services
Will Will Rook Preschool is receiving a significant upgrade in 2021 to create an additional room to support the delivery of 3-year-old programs through the Victorian government’s Building Blocks initiative, as part of our ongoing efforts to provide the very best early learning opportunities for children in Glenroy and all of the communities we work within. The outdoor play space will also be upgraded.
The kindergarten offers programs for 3-year-old and 4-year-old children.
