2025 enrolment registration opening soon

Kindergarten registrations for 2025 will open soon. See below for information on the key dates for our services:

  • Registrations for Rothschild Road Kindergarten (Gisborne) and Molesworth Street Kindergarten (North Melbourne) are managed directly by the NSEY enrolments team and will open on 2nd April 2025. Please check the ‘How to enrol‘ page on this date to access the registration form, which you can complete and send to our office.
  • Registrations for our Merri-bek services are via Merri-bek Council and will also open on 2nd April 2025. This includes our kindergartens located at Moreland (Merri-bek Primary School), Lorne Street (Fawkner Primary School), Belle Vue Park, York Street (Glenroy West Primary School), Glenroy Central, and Will Will Rook Preschool.
  • Registrations for our Hume services are via Hume City Council and are open now. This includes our kindergartens located at Dallas/Upfield, Holy Child, Bethal, Broadmeadows, Meadows and Roxburgh Park Primary Schools.

NSEY Kindergarten Open Days 2024

Families are invited to visit our kindergartens to meet the kindergarten team, learn about our programs and tour the beautiful settings. We offer FREE 15-hour programs for 3 and 4-year-old children, with services in the municipalities of Hume and Merri-bek, as well as in North Melbourne and Gisborne.

Reflections on the first year of the Glenroy Hub Children’s Centre

The Glenroy Hub Children’s Centre is a long day care centre located within the new Glenroy Community Hub, offering education and care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age, including integrated kindergarten for 3 and 4-year-olds. It is currently the only not-for-profit long day care centre in Glenroy and represents the NSEYC’s first venture into education and care for children under 3.

The Children’s Centre officially opened on 28th February 2022. Our first anniversary presents a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our journey, including our successes and challenges so far. We are pleased to share this article which includes a question and answer with Centre Manager, Brinda, and the experiences of one of our families at the Hub.
